Description This ring features a handmade mokume-gane bar on a sterling silver shank. Mokume-gane originated in Japan, originally used for ancient swords. Mokume-gane translates to "wood grain metal". This bar is made of 14 layers sterling silver and copper. These are welded with heat then hammered to a 2mm thickness.
